What is an Edcamp?
An Edcamp is a participant-driven conference - commonly referred to as an "unconference". Edcamps are designed to provide participant-driven professional development for K-12 educators.
Sessions
Session topics are determined by participants. Conversations & collaboration are key! Sessions are facilitated by participants, not planned presentations. All are encouraged to speak up & share. Empowering educators to find sessions that meet their needs. If it isn't helping, find one that does!
Why an Edcamp on Makerspaces
We wanted to do an specifically driven toward Makerspace mindset and ideas because we wanted a place and time to collaborate, learn, and share with those in the area who are like minded and want to drive the makerspace mindset to students.
