Our team worked with EdBoard Technologies, who develops educational tools aimed at children aged 5-11 years old. Specifically, EdBoard asked us to create an interface between the EdBoard and micro-controllers like Arduino and Micro:bit. Our goal was to design and build a shield-type interface for the Arduino as well as wired connections for the Microbit that allows users of the EdBoard to explore the different ways of programming, to enhance the circuits that they build. We also created more curriculum and stories to the program to encourage children to continue to use the project past an initial play time.
