What is Destiny?

Destiny is the district’s library and textbook management system that provides several services for teachers and students. Those include:

• Teachers and students can search for materials both in their school’s Innovation Center and across the district

• Teachers and students can place items on hold for checkout

• Teachers and students can request items from another school through inter-library loan

• Teachers and students can check out and read eBooks

• Teachers and students can create “Collections” of print and digital resources to share with teachers and students. The Collection can be shared through Destiny, a permanent link, or directly to their Google Classroom

• Depending on the school, teachers can check-ou/in textbooks to their students

• The school’s Innovation Specialist is the expert user of Destiny and an excellent resource.
