Jong Hyeok Choi

Welcome! I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at Clemson University.

My research interests lie in labor economics, public economics, and applied econometrics. I study how public policies — particularly paid parental/maternal leave — affect fertility decisions, labor supply, and employer behavior.

Currently, I am working on projects evaluating South Korea’s parental/maternal leave reforms and their effects on fertility and labor market outcomes.
