EcoGreen collects limited personal information required for authentication through Firebase, such as email address or user ID.
However, the app stores scan history to improve user experience.
This may include:
Scanned product codes (e.g., barcodes or QR codes)
Related product results displayed in the app.
EcoGreen uses the device camera solely for scanning products.
The camera is activated only when the user chooses to scan
No images or videos are recorded or stored
Camera input is processed in real-time
The app may use an internet connection to fetch product information.
Only scanned product codes may be sent to external APIs
No personal user data is transmitted
All communication is secured using HTTPS
EcoGreen does not sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties.
EcoGreen may connect to external services to retrieve product information. These services may process the scanned product code but do not receive personal user data. The chatbot feature send user queries to external service(groq) solely to generate responses.
EcoGreen does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
We take reasonable measures to protect the data stored within the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.

10.Account Deletion
Users can delete their account directly within the app through the account settings.

Upon deletion, all associated personal data will be permanently removed from our systems .
