Dianna Byrd Easterling
Dianna Byrd Easterling
Edmond Easterling was the son of the owner of the Easterling Plantation in Georgetown County, S.C.
He and Dianna Glover Byrd (Slave) had 3 children – William, David and Nancy. Edmond lived with Dianna as her husband and the father of their children and grandfather to his grands. He was a white man and never took a wife of his own race and class.
The Easterlings were horse breeders and according to Aunt Ethel and Aunt Thelma, famous race horses; as well as, the Clydesdale horses.
