Products you save—including ingredient text, nutrition information and optional product photos—are stored locally on your iPhone. Your language preference is also stored locally.
Ečkové does not upload saved products or photos to an app-operated server. It does not require an account or include advertising, tracking or analytics.
Device backups may contain locally stored app data, depending on your Apple settings.
Barcode lookup sends the product barcode to Open Food Facts. Product images are downloaded from the image addresses supplied by that service.
These requests expose technical information, such as your IP address, to the receiving services. Their handling and retention of this information are governed by their own policies.

Camera access is used to scan product barcodes. The app processes camera input on your device and does not record or upload the camera feed.
The system photo picker gives the app access to the product photo you select. The app prepares a smaller copy for local storage; it does not upload that photo.
You can manage camera permission in iPhone Settings.
Opening the Szecsanyi Erbe website or an evidence source connects you to that website. The destination may receive your IP address and use cookies or other technologies under its own privacy policy.
Opening a website inside the app does not mean that the website’s data stays on your device.
Saved products remain locally until you delete them in My products or remove the app’s local data. Unsaved reports are held temporarily in memory. Online requests may leave temporary system caches.
Deleting a saved product removes its record and stored photo from the app’s local database. It does not delete the original photo from your photo library or copies in existing device backups.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to its processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
The operator cannot remotely access or delete products stored only on your device.
