Granny Wu's passion for life allows us to feel her positive and optimistic attitude, bursting with energy like the color red.
Actually, the first thing that comes to mind is when my parents brought me here in 1964. I saw them all very happy, without speaking, but I could feel it. In Hong Kong history, water was supplied once every four days. This was called "Outdoor water-use restriction". People lived in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon had to line up for getting water。
We went through the process of collecting water every other day and then once every four days, but in any case, we were very lucky to have the opportunity to live in Choi Hung Estate. The residents of Choi Hung Estate nowadays, in fact, do not have much memory of this incident because 1962 to 1964 was the time when the first batch of residents moved into Choi Hung Estate.
