Dates:

Wednesday, 8/23/2023 - Monday, 8/28/2023

Ages:

• Youth and Young Married Couples, Ages 12 - 40, are invited

Cost:

• $480 for Wednesday to Monday stay

• $385 for Thursday to Monday stay

This price includes all activities, lodging, and meals.  This does not include bus transportation.

Lodging:

• The LCA planning team will assign you to stay in a cabin.  There will be cabins designated for brothers and other cabins designated for sisters.

• The cabins have fans, but no air conditioning.

Special Requests for Couples with children under 12:

Camp Echo has a limited number of cabins with family-style accommodations.  The retreat will have activities for the youth (ages 12 - 40).  However, if you need to bring your underage children in order to attend the retreat, please request to do so in the registration form.  The planning committee will contact you to let you know if we can accommodate your request.  The cost for children ≥ 8 years old is the same as the cost for adults.  Camp echo does not charge for children under 8. Please do NOT purchase airline tickets for underage children until you have confirmation from the LCA planning team that we can accommodate the children.

Offsite Lodging in Hotels:

If your family wishes to stay in a nearby hotel, there are several in the area.   A list of nearby lodging can be viewed here.  If you choose to do this, you will need to provide your own transportation.  Additionally,  please indicate this option in the registration form.  The cost for a Camp Echo Day Pass to participate in the meals and activities is $60 per day.

Air Travel Tips:  

Arrival Flights:

• Fly into LaGuardia (LGA) or John F. Kennedy (JFK) airport in New York if you would like additional ground transportation from the LCA.  The retreat is approximately 3.5 hours from New York City.

• If you choose to fly into Newark or another airport, you will need to rent your own car.

• To travel on the NY bus to Camp Echo, schedule flights that arrive a minimum of 3 hours before the NY bus departure time.

• We will assist with transportation between the airport (LGA or JFK) and the NY church.

Return Flights Monday 8/28:

• Schedule evening/night flights on Monday, 8/28  if you are taking the NY bus 

• Domestic flights - Schedule at 3 p.m. or later

• International flights - Schedule at 5 p.m. or later

• You could choose to stay at an airport hotel if you leave Tuesday, 8/29
