Echo does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as:

• Contacts

We do not require user accounts or registration.

2. Offline Communication & Data Usage

Echo is designed to work entirely offline using Bluetooth technology.

• All messages, files, and images are exchanged directly between nearby devices

• No data is sent to any server

• No internet connection is required or used

3. Local Data Storage

• Chat messages and shared files are stored locally on your device only

• Data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption methods

• You can permanently delete all chats and data at any time using the Secure Wipe feature

4. Permissions Used

Echo may request the following permissions only to provide core app functionality:

• Bluetooth – to discover and connect with nearby devices

• Nearby Devices / Location (Bluetooth-related only) – required by Android to enable Bluetooth scanning
  Echo does NOT track, store, or share your location

• Storage (optional) – to send or receive files and images

These permissions are never used for tracking or advertising purposes.

5. Data Sharing

Echo does NOT:

• Share data with third parties

• Sell user data

• Use analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs

• Store any data on external servers

6. Children’s Privacy

Echo does not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 13. Since the app does not collect user data, it is safe to use for all age groups under parental guidance.

7. Security

We prioritize your security by:

• Encrypting locally stored data

• Providing manual data deletion

• Allowing users to block unwanted connections

• Preventing unauthorized access to chats
