I recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor in Commerce majoring in business analytics and am looking to start my career in business analytics and data science.

My undergraduate journey started in accounting and after a couple years I realized that I liked working with data, but not in the same way that accountants do. This prompted me to switch into business analytics which gave me the freedom to manage, build and analyze data the way that I wanted to. I am naturally a curious person that likes to try to understand how things work and how they can be more efficient and business analytics has taught me how to gather, transform, and analyze data to draw insights on questions like "has COVID-19 caused a boom in the video gaming industry?" or "can we use machine learning methods to predict the price of housing?". I am passionate about learning technical skills like programming and simulation methods and would love to pursue a future working with data.

Outside of school and work you will probably find me at home working on hobbies like building model Gundams, playing video games or playing and learning various sports with friends.
