1. What is the ECC Committee of St Xavier’s College, Mumbai?

A. The ECC or the Extra Curricular Credit Committee is a student-faculty organization in St Xavier’s College, Mumbai that provides opportunities for students to engage in a variety of extra curricular activities. It provides a platform for students to gain an all-round learning experience by participating in various events and workshops and assuming various roles of responsibility.

2. What are ECC Hours and how many hours do I need?

A. ECC hours are awarded to students for participating in workshops, events or college festivals. All students must have a total of 60 hours (earned over the course of three years).

3. How do I earn ECC Hours?

A. ECC hours can be earned by participating in college festivals. (Malhar, Janfest and Ithaka are just some of the few) Hours can be earned by those who participate either as part of the contingent or workforce. But festivals aren’t the only way to earn hours; hours are also awarded when students participate in ECC workshops

4. What is the procedure for checking my ECC hours?

A. As of 2015, the entire process of registering ECC hours is now in the form of an online database. Students can check their points on https://sites.google.com/view/eccxaviers/knowmypoints

5. Do I have to submit any forms?

A. The ECC has adopted a completely form-free procedure! As of 2015, hours for any activity will be logged in through an online database. This means it is no longer necessary for students to fill and submit ECC Forms.
