THEME: Building community! Building connection!
We’ve heard loud and clear that California ELUNA members want to connect to each other in all kinds of ways. This conference will provide opportunities to meet colleagues from your region and beyond. We will be connecting peers from all user levels and from a variety of functional areas to identify mutual needs and to chat about what’s working and what’s not. Institutions of all sizes and types will have the opportunity to learn how best to advocate for their needs with Ex Libris. And finally, we’ll make sure you have what you need to continue to take action after the conference.
This is an exclusive opportunity to expand our collective knowledge of the Ex Libris system, forge invaluable connections through networking, and propel our libraries towards a brighter future - together!

UCOP BUILDING DETAILS:
UCOP occupies two side-by-side buildings connected by a lobby and the 5th floor garden patio. Our homebase will be in the Broadway conference room, and we will also be using breakout rooms in both the Franklin and Broadway towers. See this map of the buildings for a brief overview.
SECURITY:
Visitors must be registered in the Symmetry Guest system to be granted access; eCAUG conference planners will be putting all registered conference members into the system ahead of time.
Once conference members enter the building, you will need to check in with security each morning to get a temporary security barcode pass in order to enter the conference rooms. Have this barcode with you in order to pass through any security gate during the day.
Because we need visitors registered in the system 48 hours in advance, we cannot accept drop-ins to the conference.
Franklin building doors are open Mon. – Fri., 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Broadway building doors are open Mon. – Fri., 8 a.m. –5 p.m.
COVID PROCEDURES:
In order to enter the building each morning, you must complete the following two actions:
Each visitor must complete the UCOP Screen Health Screening Survey. You take a screenshot of your “accepted” screen and be prepared to show to security.
All visitors are required to test prior to entering workspaces, outdoor settings or meeting rooms.
We will be providing COVID tests for people to take on-site if you don’t have your own test.
It is highly recommended you test the morning before you arrive if you have your own test.
Be prepared to show a picture of your negative test results if asked by security.
Masking and proof of vaccination are not required at this time.
Masks will be strongly recommended
For more details on the COVID procedures for entry please read the COVID-19 UCOP Visitor Guidance page.
