Starting next Sunday there will be a 4-week pastors’ exchange between the Christian Reformed Churches in Frankford, Brighton, Bloomfield and Trenton.  The sermon series is called One Another in Christ and will focus on pursuing church unity for the sake of our gospel mission together. Pastor Adam will lead us in worship during the first Combined Service on Sept 8.

 

There will be a Combined Evening Service here at Trenton CRC on Sept 29th that everyone from all 4 churches is invited to. The deacons from the 4 churches are collaborating on a fundraiser event for the Quinte West Pregnancy & Family Care Centre throughout the series and at the combined evening service, to meet our collective goal of $16,000 for the Centre.

VOLUNTEERS: As our ministry year starts soon, volunteers that require a new or updated police check will be contacted by the church office. Thank you for continuing to obtain police checks and fill out volunteer documents in a timely fashion.

 

MILK BAG MATS: Numbers keep increasing and interest in the milk bag project has sped up, with new people joining the work. So far this year 2,966 mats have been sent out. Also there is a request for frames. If anyone has decided to stop weaving, would you be willing to donate your frame? Contact the church office if so, and this information can be passed along to the Coordinator.

 

ANNUAL QCHS EAGLE RUN/WALK: You are invited to the family fun Eagle run/walk and free breakfast on Sat, Sept 14. Cost is $10-$60. Registration 7:30 a.m., races at 8 a.m. Participants will receive a T-shirt. E-mail admin@qchs.ca with name/size of shirt(s).
