Next week begins our celebration of the season of Lent, as we look ahead to Easter and the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ. This year we will be reflecting on the command given at the empty tomb to go and bear witness to what we have experienced in Christ.

Also starting next week is a small group opportunity as a church family to reflect on our missional identity, and discuss how we can share the Gospel of Christ's love with our community. These discussion sessions will take place at 6:30 on Sunday evenings for 5 weeks.

The Quinte West Warming Centre Update

7 boxes of food / drinks were donated by Ebenezer to the Warming Centre this past week. Thank you for your generous donations. The Warming Centre has seen an increase in usage as the cold of winter drags on into March. Your assistance helps to alleviate the struggle that our unhoused neighbours here in Trenton are experiencing this winter.

From the Worship Committee

We are always looking for musical talent to participate in leading worship on Sundays. If you or someone you know is musically gifted, please contact someone on the Worship Committee (Ben B, Spencer H, Paula W, Samara B, Jelle P, Theresa R or Maddy H) or your Ministry Coordinator, Gary Haveman. There are also funds available to assist members of Ebenezer with paying for the cost of music lessons. Curious? Reach out to one of us.

Thanks. The Worship Committee

Book Display in the Sanctuary: Before the Book Display is dismantled in March, we were wondering if anyone has interest in using the Books for another purpose. Contact the office if you are interested.
