Eating is a daily task; while enjoyable for some, many struggle with their relationship with food.
The Craving Change workshop focuses on four key areas in order to promote a healthy lifestyle: better understanding why changing eating behaviours can be difficult, self evaluation through tools such as workbooks, instructions on how to best implement planned changes and gaining the tools to maintain these adjustments long term. Each person has their own personal eating triggers.

Cultivating a compassionate mind
Compassion, kindness and acceptance are key to a happy life.
The busy mind keeps us away from truly being aware of our unconscious thoughts, this can become unhelpful when we are playing old critical stories to ourselves. Some common stories are; "I am not good enough." "I will fail, if I try." "I am difficult to love." Causing us emotional pain, we begin to become unhooked when we shine the light of awareness on these thoughts and begin to befriend our mind. The first step towards befriending ourselves is to become aware. This workshop will begin this process.
As an experienced behavioural scientist & researcher, I offer staff training in conducting robust, quantifiable research and evaluation. Developing qualitative and quantitative models. Such as support with interview processes, active listen, clean language, didactic dialogue, research bias & ethics, recording of data and analysis. Supporting funding bid processes and end of contract reporting. A unique combination of academic skills, clinical health perspective and mindful practice. Enables me to deliver quality, measurable and evaluated courses and workshops to various cross sections of society. From small community groups, up to conference delivery.
My ability to develop trusting relationships allows for innovative approaches to old problems to emerge in a co-adaptive way. I make each client feel they are special and have really been understood. I am a well being practitioner with 13 years experience in supporting people through difficult periods in their life. I work with individuals, groups or organisations. Delivering mindfulness and cognitive behavioural packages, whether it be for simple relaxation or more complex situations.
