It let me in just fine with my ebay.com credentials. Before that I logged into ebay.ie. It had me confirm my contact information but I just clicked the link that they were correct. Perhaps you misinterpreted the German instructions on confirming?
I've been selling a few things on ebay-kleinanzeigen, and frankly, I don't really understand a lot of the buyers. Everything has gone smoothly, but it surprises me that people are willing to send me hundreds of euros (in one case), even with Paypal's buyer protection, to have something shipped sight unseen (although, to be fair I documented the hell out of that item with pictures and an incredibly detailed description including a generous detailing of all the vintage flaws). Some of these buyers are worse than Craigslist buyers in the U.S.- like when i post a price, and people instantly message me to ask me "what's the lowest price you'll go", in rather colloquial German, might I add. Or I post something VB, they email me with the same question. A couple of people haven't waited for a paypal invoice, but have paid me directly using the email address I sent them for contact info, but they at least have used the commercial payment. For a mobile app we would love to integrate the eBay Kleinanzeigen (www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de) API. Goal is to (API GET) get all the classifieds in a certain (German) zip code.
However the documentation is not very useful.
The API under -kleinanzeigen.de/api/ads request login and password for this API. We used the username and password from www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de and the eBay Partner (Developer) login credentials but both are not working.
