App Lock ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application.
Information We Collect
App Lock does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data — including your PIN, security question, locked app selections, and hidden files in the Vault — is stored locally on your device only.
Permissions We Use
- Usage Access: To detect which app is currently open, so we can lock apps you've selected.
- Display over other apps: To show the PIN lock screen when a locked app is opened.
- Photos and Videos access: To let you hide and restore photos/videos in the Vault feature.
- Foreground Service: To continuously monitor app usage in the background so locking works reliably.
Advertising
This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) to show relevant ads. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for details on how Google handles this data.
Data Security
Since all sensitive data (PIN, hidden files) is stored locally on your device using secure hashing, it is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
