2. Health & Fitness Data (Apple Health / HealthKit)
If you connect EatFit with Apple Health (HealthKit) and grant permission through the iOS system dialog, we may access the following fitness data stored on your device:
- Steps
- Active Energy Burned
- Workout data
How We Use HealthKit Data
We use this data solely to provide core health and wellness functionalities within EatFit, including:
- Estimating daily energy expenditure
- Supporting nutrition analysis
- Displaying activity-related trends
Prohibited Uses
In accordance with Apple’s HealthKit policies, EatFit will not:
- Use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing
- Share, sell, or disclose HealthKit data to third parties
- Use HealthKit data for analytics unrelated to app functionality
- Store or process HealthKit data without the user’s permission
Storage and Security
- HealthKit data is processed on-device whenever possible.
- If synchronization is provided, all data is encrypted in transit and used only for app functionality.
- You may revoke permissions at any time in the Apple Health app.
EatFit strictly complies with Apple’s HealthKit and App Store Review Guidelines.
