An unbroken stream of spiritual masters passing down the sacred teachings of the dharma allows our modern guidance to be traced directly back to its source. The true significance of lineage is that it preserves the purity and untainted nature of the teachings, ensuring the absolute integrity of their transmission across time.
Mahamudra is the practice of resting in present experience to realize its true nature, which is vast and spacious like the sky. Because all phenomena are coemergent expressions of appearance and emptiness, any moment of human experience can become a doorway to recognizing the mind. In short, the entirety of our experience is the Great Symbol of ultimate reality.
As one of the four brahma viharas, compassion is a foundational sublime abode. Yet, when the wish for others to be free from pain blossoms into a relentless drive for enlightenment—undertaken solely to guide all beings out of the suffering of samsara—it transforms into great compassion: nyingje chenpo, the boundless mahākarunā.
Literally meaning "that which is struck together well," sangha commonly refers to a community and has been adopted across multiple religions. In Buddhism, it generally denotes a group of practitioners, encompassing specific categories such as enlightened beings, ordained monastics, lay followers, or any combination of the ordained and lay community.
Give yourself the gift of the present moment, connection with community, and the support of ageless love and wisdom.
