Privacy Policy for Easy Files transfer NFC/WiFi

TechTool (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the mobile application Easy Files transfer NFC/WiFi (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of data when you use the App:

• Device information and identifiers – Collected by Google AdMob for the purpose of delivering personalized and non-personalized ads.

• Usage data – Such as crash logs and performance data (if enabled through Firebase services) to improve app stability and functionality.

• Files and documents (Only in cloud transfer mode!) – Please note, Uploaded temporarily to Google Firebase Cloud to enable file transfer between devices. These files are automatically deleted after the transfer is complete.
  
  

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data only for the following purposes:

• App functionality – To allow users to transfer files via NFC, Wi-Fi Direct, or temporary cloud storage.

• Advertising – To show ads through Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers and cookies.

• Analytics and improvements – To monitor performance and fix issues.

3. Data Sharing

• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

• Files uploaded for cloud transfer are only processed through Google Firebase servers and are not accessible to any other party.

• Advertising data is processed by Google AdMob in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4. Data Retention

• Files uploaded for transfer (Only in cloud transfer mode!) are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after transfer completion.

• Crash/usage data may be retained by Firebase for diagnostic purposes.

• Advertising identifiers may be collected and processed by Google AdMob as described in their privacy policy.

5. Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All file transfers through Firebase are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

• NFC and Wi-Fi Direct transfers happen locally between devices and do not involve cloud storage.

6. Children’s Privacy

This App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.

7. Your Privacy Choices

• You can control AdMob personalized ads through your device settings (Google Ads Settings).

• Since files are temporary and automatically deleted, no additional request is required for deletion.

The App uses the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

To opt-out of personalized ads

For mobile advertising in apps, you can reset your Advertising Identifier and depending on your device, select to opt out of interest-based ads (Android). Settings vary from device to device but you will usually find the ad identifier settings under “privacy” or “ads” in your device’s settings.

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device ("Usage Data").
