STARKEY HONG KONG LIMITED ("we", "us" or "our") provides Easyclean (the "App"). This policy explains the information accessed or processed through its Android Home launcher, storage review and file-management features, utilities, online content, advertising and measurement services.
Permissions, data processing and available features depend on the Android version, device, distributed build and enabled services. A system permission for one feature does not authorize every other feature or replace any consent required for advertising or analytics.
1. Contact and account information
The current App does not require an Easyclean account or password. You can use its core features without registration. If you contact us, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond to your request.
Privacy enquiries and applicable data requests may be sent to:

2. Storage review, scanning and deletion
Easyclean reads storage capacity and available space to display a storage overview. Its file-management features can scan shared storage or a folder you select, classify accessible files, identify large files and compare file contents to find duplicates. Information processed can include file names, paths, types, sizes, modification times, thumbnails and contents needed for comparison or preview.
On Android 11 and later, device-wide shared-storage review may use the optional All files access setting (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). You are directed to the Android setting when you choose this access. This access does not permit reading another app's private storage. The scanner excludes protected Android directories and does not bypass Android's storage restrictions.
You can instead select files or a folder through Android's system picker. A selected folder grant may be remembered for later scans. Selecting a different folder releases the previous remembered folder grant. On supported devices, files supplied by a cloud provider may be downloaded by that provider when they are read or compared.
Scanning does not delete files. Deletion requires your selection and confirmation and may also require Android or the file provider to approve the operation. Some providers do not support deletion. Deletion can be permanent, and the App does not provide an undo or file-recovery guarantee.
File review and comparison are performed on the device. Easyclean's cleanup code does not upload file contents, names, paths or thumbnails to our backend or add them to its custom analytics events. Separate network activity for advertisements or online services may still occur on these pages.
The separate app-cache review feature checks Easyclean's own temporary cache. It does not clean other apps' private caches. Shared-storage scanning is a different feature and should not be understood as an antivirus or malware scan.
3. Local records, notes and wallpaper
The App stores launcher layout, shortcuts, preferences, local app-launch records, cleanup history and feature configuration in app-private storage. Cleanup history may include action dates, item counts and known file sizes. It is not a full copy of deleted files.
Notes contain the titles, text and creation/update times you enter. They and local recovery data are stored on the device. The notes feature does not sync their contents to our server or add note text to custom analytics events.
Wallpapers are supplied as bundled resources in the current version. Selection and unlock state are stored locally. Applying a wallpaper changes Android's Home or Lock wallpaper through the system. That wallpaper can remain after you switch launchers or remove the App. Wallpaper pages also include advertising and may offer a rewarded-ad unlock.
4. Installed apps and usage information
The launcher and app manager access information about applications visible to them, including names, package names, icons and installation or launchable status. This supports the app drawer, local app search, shortcuts and app management. Android controls any uninstall request. Removing a built-in Easyclean shortcut changes its visibility; it does not uninstall Easyclean.
Optional Usage Access allows the App to read recent usage summaries, last-used dates and foreground-event timestamps, and permitted app-storage statistics. The current recent-app feature queries up to 30 days of usage summaries and the previous 24 hours of foreground events to keep recent shortcuts in order. The app manager also uses available usage and storage statistics.
These launcher and app-management records are processed locally; the relevant features do not send their app inventory or usage rankings to our backend or include them in custom analytics events. This access does not read messages, documents or the contents of pages inside another app. Advertising SDKs have their own data processing described in section 10; a local-processing statement about a launcher feature is not a claim that the entire App has no SDK network activity.
Usage Access is optional. Without it, the launcher can use apps launched from Easyclean and available default or launchable apps, while some usage dates or storage statistics may be unavailable. You can revoke this access in Android settings.
5. Search and external applications
Submitted web-search terms are sent to Microsoft Bing through a search URL opened by a browser or Custom Tab. Bing and the browser may process those terms, IP address, cookies, identifiers and interactions under their own policies. Easyclean keeps up to eight submitted recent-search terms locally. You can clear this history or pause recording in the search interface. Clearing local history does not erase data already held by a search provider or browser.
Voice search opens a compatible device speech-recognition application. That provider may access the microphone and process audio locally or on its servers. Easyclean itself does not request microphone-recording permission. The returned text is used as a search term when the search proceeds.
Phone, contacts, messages, camera, calendar and clock shortcuts open compatible external or system applications. Easyclean does not use these shortcuts to read your contacts, SMS, calendar records or call history. The selected application controls its own permissions and handling of data.

6. Weather and location
If you grant approximate location permission, Easyclean can send approximate latitude and longitude to its weather service to obtain a local forecast. Android's geocoding provider may also process a location query to return a place name. The App does not request precise or background location permission.
If location is denied or unavailable, the weather service may use your network IP address to estimate a city or region. Declining location permission therefore does not prevent all location-related processing by network services.
Weather requests include a location query, language, forecast options and technical connection information. The receiving service can see the IP address of the request. Weather and location results may be cached on the device.
The current primary weather endpoint is https://api.starkey-ad.com. The weather service may use an upstream weather provider. A build configured for direct WeatherAPI access may also use that provider. Consult the service-provider disclosure for the build you use.
7. News, images and promotional links
News requests to https://api.starkey-ad.com include a content category, language/locale, page size, pagination cursor and technical request information. The current feed uses ten news items per page and locally caches a first-page snapshot. Images may be loaded from publishers' or content providers' domains.
Opening an article, promotional offer or short-drama link can send you to an independent website or application. The destination may receive IP address, browser/device information, cookies and tracking parameters included in the link. Promotional attribution links can identify the campaign or referral associated with the visit. Easyclean's custom promotion-click events record the entry context; they do not contain your short-drama viewing or payment records.
These external providers control their own content and data practices. A link or advertisement does not mean that their data processing is covered solely by this policy.
8. Camera tools, scanning and guidance audio
Flashlight uses supported camera/torch controls to switch the light on and off. Magnifier uses the camera to show an enlarged live preview. Easyclean requests camera permission for these tools when needed. Its flashlight and magnifier code does not save or upload camera images or videos. Denying this permission affects the relevant tool rather than all App features.
Code scanning uses Google Code Scanner through Google Play services. This service provides the scanning interface without requiring a camera-permission request by Easyclean for that interface. Google documents on-device processing of scanned images/results; the Google components may still process technical usage and diagnostic data and obtain scanning modules over the network. Opening a scanned link is a separate user-directed network action.
Chinese and English guidance normally uses recordings bundled with the app. Guidance in other languages may use the device's text-to-speech service. Whether that service connects to the internet depends on the service and its settings. Easyclean submits only fixed guidance text for speech synthesis.

9. App initialization and installation attribution
The App's initialization service can receive a random app-installation identifier, App package/version, user agent, available Google Advertising ID and tracking-limit status, device manufacturer/model, Android version, language, time zone and network type. The receiving server can also see your IP address.
This information supports service configuration, promotional eligibility, installation measurement and abuse prevention. The app-installation identifier is generated by the App; it is not an IMEI. For this initialization request, Easyclean sends an actual Advertising ID only when available, nonzero and not marked as limited by the system; otherwise the ID field is empty.
Google Play Install Referrer and, when configured, Adjust provide installation-attribution results. Installation source information, campaign evidence and related times may be processed or stored locally; attribution status/source can be included in initialization and measurement events. Unknown or failed attribution is treated as organic in the App's classification. This classification does not disable advertising or guarantee that no identifiers are processed.
10. Advertising, SDKs and measurement
Easyclean is supported by advertising, including app-open, interstitial, native, banner and optional rewarded ads. A rewarded feature is unlocked only after the advertising provider confirms the qualifying reward event.
Advertising providers may include TopOn/ThinkUp, Google AdMob, Unity Ads and Pangle. Depending on the distributed version and configuration, additional providers may include SDM, Chartboost, Liftoff/Vungle, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin and Mintegral. Depending on the version and configuration, we also use Google Analytics for Firebase, Meta App Events and Adjust for usage measurement, installation attribution and advertising measurement.
These providers may process available Advertising IDs, SDK/app-instance identifiers, IP addresses and approximate regions, device and App information, network information, usage and advertising interactions, reported ad revenue and technical diagnostics. This supports ad delivery, measurement, personalization where enabled, and security. Easyclean's custom events do not intentionally include file contents or names, note text, camera images or submitted search terms.
You can manage supported advertising choices through Android settings and the providers' privacy controls. These choices do not necessarily stop every service request or delete previously received data. Providers' privacy information is linked below.

11. Permissions and optional access
All files access: optional shared-storage review and management. A system file/folder picker provides a narrower alternative.
Usage Access: optional local recent-app ordering and app-management usage/storage statistics.
Approximate location: optional local weather; IP-based weather may remain available without it.
Camera: flashlight control and live magnifier preview.
Notifications: optional Easyclean quick-search and weather notifications. This is permission to send our notifications, not access to read another app's notifications. The current App does not register a notification-listener service.
Do Not Disturb access: optional system access needed on some devices for selected mute/ringer operations. It does not read notification contents.
Wallpaper and sound settings: applying a selected wallpaper and changing supported audio settings.
Bluetooth state: on supported versions, displaying an available switch state and opening system Bluetooth settings; the App does not request Bluetooth scanning or connection permissions.
App removal: user-directed uninstall requests confirmed by Android.
Boot, network and service-related permissions: restoring supported launcher/notification behavior, delivering network content and ads, and supporting the bundled services.
The current package retains an optional accessibility service for a legacy notification-shade gesture. When enabled by the user, its action is to expand the notification shade. It does not request accessibility events or retrieve window contents. New users' downward gesture opens search; the current settings screen no longer offers the notification-shade gesture choice. Users can disable the retained service in Android Accessibility settings.
The package also retains Android authentication support for a legacy hidden-app screen. If used, Android performs the device-credential/biometric verification. Easyclean does not obtain fingerprint/face templates or your device PIN/password. This legacy screen is not a current visible settings option.
The current App does not declare precise/background location, microphone recording, contact-reading, calendar-reading, SMS-reading or QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission. Independent applications opened at your request can seek their own permissions.
12. Recipients and purposes of sharing
Network-enabled features send necessary information to our backend and the service providers described above. Advertising, analytics and attribution providers process their respective request and event data. Infrastructure providers may handle IP addresses and technical logs for delivery, security and troubleshooting. External websites, browsers, speech services and file/cloud providers process data when you choose their features.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to investigate fraud or security incidents, to protect legal rights or in a business transfer, subject to applicable requirements. Advertising disclosures may fall within legal definitions of sharing or targeted-advertising processing in some jurisdictions. This policy does not label all advertising-related processing as anonymous or exempt from privacy rights.
13. Retention
Local preferences, notes and recovery records, launcher configuration, remembered file grants and cleanup records generally remain until removed through available controls, the App's data is cleared or it is uninstalled. Search history is limited to eight submitted entries and remains until cleared or removed with App data. Usage summaries are queried from Android; clearing App data does not delete the history maintained by Android. Wallpaper changes and system roles may also remain outside the App's data.
We retain personal information under our control only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Server-held installation, attribution, request and security records are retained for no longer than twenty-four (24) months after the last recorded activity associated with the relevant App installation. Support correspondence is retained for no longer than twenty-four (24) months after the last communication about the enquiry. A shorter period applies when the information is no longer needed. Longer retention may apply where required or permitted by law, including applicable accounting, dispute-resolution and legal obligations.
When the information is no longer needed or the applicable period expires, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it. If immediate deletion is not possible because a record is held in a backup, we securely isolate it from further routine processing until deletion is possible. The server-retention limit does not automatically erase notes or other device-only data that you choose to keep.
Independent providers retain data according to their policies and relevant settings. Clearing Easyclean's local data does not erase information they have already received.
14. Your choices and deletion requests
You can clear local recent searches, manage notes, revoke permissions or special access, disable supported notifications, change the default Home app, clear Easyclean's data or uninstall it. These actions have different effects; changing your launcher alone does not delete App data or reset the system wallpaper. Removing the App does not delete original personal files unless you separately selected and confirmed deletion.
To change your Home app, open Android Settings, then Apps, Default apps and Home app, and select another installed launcher. Menu names vary by device. You can uninstall Easyclean through Android's app settings. Your other installed apps remain accessible through the selected launcher's app drawer. Removing a built-in Easyclean shortcut only hides that shortcut; it does not uninstall Easyclean.
Send applicable access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction requests concerning data controlled by us to starkey202606@gmail.com. We may need information sufficient to verify and locate the request. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents. Device-only records are managed using device controls; independent providers also offer their own request mechanisms. Where applicable, you may withdraw consent or complain to your data-protection authority. Rights and exceptions depend on local law.
15. Security and international processing
The App uses app-private storage for its local records and HTTPS for the configured backend requests. Initialization payloads also use application-level encryption. These safeguards do not make an identifier anonymous or remove the need for disclosure and an appropriate legal basis. No system guarantees absolute security.
Our operator is based in Hong Kong. Network services and third-party providers may process information outside your country. Where required, transfers under our responsibility must use an appropriate lawful mechanism.
16. Children
Easyclean is not designed for children under 13. If local law sets a higher age for independent consent, that requirement applies. A parent or guardian who believes a child has supplied personal information to us can contact starkey202606@gmail.com. We review such requests and take appropriate action under applicable law.
17. Changes and related documents
We update this policy when features, providers or data practices change and show the actual Last Updated date. Material changes may require additional notice or consent under applicable law.
