What do we do?

We create articles about common science misconceptions with fun illustrations and simple explanations to make the scientific facts easier for the average person to understand.

GOAL:

The goal is to educate young people about science and to fight misinformation.

We aim to create a fun and easier reading environment about common time relevant science questions. The articles are geared toward a young audience by using simple graphics and a short explanation to illustrate the scientific facts.

Why?

Science is one of the most beneficial subjects to improve our society. The average American high schooler lacks the motivation to learn about science. If more people have a strong foundation in science, they will develop stronger critical thinking skills and are less persuaded by misinformation.

Even though fighting misinformation is a timeless goal that is important in any generation, right now, with COVID-19 running loose, it is even more important to stop it. In the age of social media, with a click of a button misinformation can spread faster and broader than ever before. Anyone can spread any false information with bad intentions, amplified with social media, to thousands of people within seconds, making misinformation extremely dangerous. This is why I want to counter misinformation with scientific facts that can be easily understood.
