Eastwind Sails is a family sailmaking business (est. 1964) owned by David and Brenda Turner, operating in Koolewong, NSW, on the Central Coast just north of Sydney. David has been a member of Gosford Sailing Club since 1970.

We use the world-renowned ‘ProSail’ system to design, manufacture and import a wide range of sails and products for yachts, dinghies and catamarans ranging in size from 8 foot to 50 footers. Our sails are manufactured using racing or cruising dacron, nylon, kevlar, carbon laminate and load path membrane. Constructed to the highest quality specification and complete with every option required for racing or performance cruising.

We have extensive experience in new sails, sail repairs, canvas work, boom bags, sun awnings and sail covers. Our sail covers are custom made in our loft in Koolewong and a sail cover from Eastwind Sails will enhance and protect the appearance of your yacht.
