East Coast Ski Club

The club’s aim is to promote mountain sports and create a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for our members. The ski lodge sleeps 20 people and accommodation over the winter includes dinner and breakfast. For stays over the summer, the large kitchen is ideal for self-catering or there are great cafes and restaurants right around the corner.

Club facilities include a large kitchen and dining room, 5 four-person bedrooms, a large living room with fireplace, table-tennis table, mezzanine TV/DVD area, ski work area, washing machine and drying room, plus ample free parking at the door.

Use of the club lodge is restricted to members, although visitors are welcome when accompanied by a fully paid-up member. An annual membership fee is payable at the beginning of the year and from then on members are granted unlimited use of the lodge at a very low nightly fee.

The East Coast Ski Club offers access to both sides of Mt Ruapehu, vehicle access to the door, 24 hour access and more.
