This #EarthHour, we're raising Nepal's #VoiceForThePlanet.

From the rolling green hills to the icy-mountain peaks and all their inhabitants, Nepal is rich in natural assets. Let's come together digitally on 28 March to recognize our diverse biodiversity and raise our #VoiceForThePlanet.

The natural world is storied with examples of recovery. In this time of uncertainty, let's choose to spread hope and inspiration.

Throughout the day:

1) We'll be sharing nature-related content with the hashtag #EarthHourNepal. Add to the conversation; dig into your archives to share your own photos/videos/art of nature in Nepal. We'll re-share your work with millions around the world participating in #EarthHour in unity. Explore nature while following along 🔍.

2) We'll be raising Nepal's #VoiceForThePlanet through Featured Sessions by passionate leaders--aspiring and established--who are working for a greener Nepal. Full list of speakers and timings here.

3) We're competing globally to raise the largest number of pledges for #VoiceForThePlanet. Our final numbers will be announced at the end of the day.

What is Earth Hour?

Earth Hour is one of the world's largest grassroots movements for the environment. Held every year on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour engages millions of people in more than 180 countries and territories, switching off their lights to show support for our planet.

2020 presents an unmissable opportunity. In 2020, world leaders will come together during key global conferences and forums to set the environmental agenda for the next decade and beyond.
