Arches National Park / Utah

Arches National Park is in eastern Utah. We stayed in the nearby city of Moab, where I discovered the delight that is frozen joghurt!

The park contains more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, and a variety of other unique geological resources and formations. The national park lies above an underground salt bed, which is the main cause of the formation of the arches, spires, balanced rocks, sandstone fins, and eroded monoliths in the area.

It was an awesome area to walk around, and not too busy when we were there.
