The Cone Nebula lies in the Constellation of Monoceros, and together with the nearby Christmas Tree star cluster is designated as NGC2264. Other objects can be found in this region, namely the Fox Fur Nebula and Snowflake star cluster.
This image of the Cone Nebula region was captured targeting light in the wavelengths of Hydrogen (Ha), Sulphur (SII) and Oxygen (OIII), which were then combined in processing.
