Earth Day coincides with April 22 of each year. It is an annual global event created to celebrate the Earth’s environment and increase public awareness of the importance of preserving the earth and reducing pollution. This day is celebrated all over the world and the work of various events ... We decided to celebrate it and to share our activities with you.
Earth Day coincides with April 22 of each year. It is an annual global event created to celebrate the Earth’s environment and increase public awareness of the importance of preserving the earth and reducing pollution. As part of the campaign, children participated in ecological classes, contests on ecology, talks and games on the subject of the campaign.
During the course, students expanded their knowledge of recycling and waste segregation, i.e. placing various types of waste fractions in containers of the appropriate color.
Various ecological competitions were held. The teachers conducted a multimedia presentation on pro-ecological issues. There were talks to encourage and promote the segregation of waste, with particular emphasis on the need to reduce the amount of plastic produced, while promoting the 5R principle. In addition to the above-mentioned activities, students could deepen their knowledge while watching an educational film. They performed quizzes, played online games, and took quizzes.

"Cleaning up the world" is a common lesson in respecting the environment. Its aim is to promote non-littering, waste education and initiate activities that will reduce our negative impact on the environment. As part of the campaign, we carried out activities promoting waste reduction, selective collection and recycling. These activities are accompanied by a whole range of other activities: tree planting, competitions, exhibitions, experiments, games and online quizzes.
