Biography 

Early Life

Lucas Bishop was born in a dystopian future where mutants were imprisoned and used as servants. As a child, he and his sister Shard were separated during an escape when the Brotherhood of anarchists—including a half-cyborg with heavy weapons—helped them flee captivity. Lucas was adopted by the Guild of Thieves, where the elder known as the Witness raised him as his son until Bishop left to search for his sister.

Bishop eventually reunited with Shard, who had been taken in by the X.S.E., a non-partisan mutant police force. There, she was raised by a telepathic swordswoman and her winged husband. They invited Bishop to join, and he became a skilled soldier, fighting countless battles for the protection of mutantkind. He earned a reputation as a hardened enforcer, respected and feared in equal measure.

Days of the Future Past

Over years on the battlefield, Bishop heard tales of how everything went wrong because of the death of Team Gold, an event that claimed many valuable mutant lives. Convinced the future could be different if that tragedy was prevented, Bishop acquired a time displacement device. As Agent B15H0P, he set out on a mission to change the past and secure a better future for mutants.

Bishop traveled back to prevent Bastion’s O.Z.T. project and the destruction it caused. Without his intervention, the X-Men would have been doomed, and mutantkind would remain enslaved. Thanks to his actions, Team Gold survived—but the mission exposed Professor Xavier’s mutant operations, leading humanity to mistrust mutants further.

The Burden of Time Travel

Determined to repair his time displacement device, Bishop realized he no longer had access to its original energy source. Instead, he began using his own energy absorption abilities to keep himself displaced in time for nearly an hour at a time. Yet Bishop faced the truth: his original future no longer existed. That world had been consumed by Sentinels, only to be erased and rewritten by the intervention of time travelers like Kitty Pryde.

Bishop eventually discovered a third timeline, ruled by Apocalypse, where mutants resisted under Mother Askani. Here, Bishop found new purpose: to unravel the origins of a mysterious mutant figure who transcended time itself, believing this secret held the key to defeating En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse).
