Neena Thurman, Domino, is the only survivor of a government program built to create mutant weapons. Her life was forged through experimentation, indoctrination, and systematic extermination. She exists not by chance, but because everything designed to kill her failed. Moving through chaos with unnatural precision, Domino is both a weapon and a survivor shaped by a system that never intended to let her live.
Neena Thurman was born inside a classified US government initiative focused on studying and weaponizing mutant children. Two parallel projects were developed under Dr. Amanda Mueller: Black Womb and Armageddon. While one focused on experimentation, the other aimed to create controlled mutant soldiers through artificial evolution.
In Project Armageddon, children were divided into controlled groups and subjected to systematic testing. When the project risked exposure, the solution was absolute elimination. A Cleaning Team was deployed to erase every subject involved.
Neena, identified as Subject 7 of Room 7, was the only survivor of the massacre.
She was extracted by a nurse and delivered to William Stryker’s Christian Reception Center, where mutant children were subjected to indoctrination and suppression. There, control shifted from scientific experimentation to ideological conditioning.
She escaped with the help of Milo Thurman, a trainee who became emotionally attached to her. For the first time, Neena experienced something close to freedom.
Weapon X eventually located her. She was captured and returned to experimentation, her existence once again reduced to a test subject. During this event, Milo Thurman was executed, eliminating her only personal connection.
On the same day, Cable led a raid on the Weapon X facility. Neena was extracted and recruited into his program, designed to train mutants for combat and survival in a world that treated them as expendable assets.
From that moment forward, her life stopped being about escape and became about function.
Domino now operates within high-risk environments tied to covert missions and mutant operations. Her probability-manipulation ability makes her uniquely effective in scenarios where survival is statistically impossible.
She does not rely on systems, institutions, or ideology. Every structure that attempted to define her life failed to contain her.
Her past is not something she carries. It is something she overcame.
Domino functions with precision, efficiency, and detachment. She understands exactly what she was created for and chooses to use that purpose on her own terms.
In a world where mutants are engineered, controlled, and discarded, Domino represents the flaw in the system: a weapon that cannot be controlled, a survivor that cannot be erased, and a variable that no calculation can predict.
