Possessing the rare ability to teleport across vast distances, he serves as both guardian and guide to the Inhuman elite. Beneath his imposing form lies a gentle and intelligent being, deeply bonded to those he protects—especially Crystal.

Early Life

Lockjaw is not a common animal, but an Inhuman whose origins remain uncertain even among Attilan’s scholars. Subjected to Terrigenesis, his transformation granted him a massive, canine-like form along with the extraordinary ability to traverse space through teleportation. Some within the Genetic Council have long speculated that his nature may be more complex than it appears, but no official record has ever confirmed the truth.

From early on, Lockjaw became an essential part of the Royal Family, serving as their primary means of transport and a constant protector. His presence allowed the rulers of Attilan to extend their influence far beyond their hidden city—reaching distant lands, colonies, and even other worlds with unmatched efficiency.

Among all his bonds, none was stronger than the one he formed with Nahrees. Acting as both companion and guardian, Lockjaw remained constantly at her side, protecting her throughout her childhood and beyond. He also served faithfully under Blackagar Boltagon and Medusalith Amaquelin, responding not to command alone, but to trust.

Throughout the reign of the Inhuman monarchy, Lockjaw stood as a silent pillar of loyalty—never seeking power, yet always present at the center of it.
