biography
Early Life
Long ago, an ordinary American man fell in love with a Colombian woman, building a quiet life and raising a daughter together. But that life was shattered when only tragedy remained the woman, full of promise, was killed, and their fragile child was taken, turned into something to be used as a weapon. Powerless in the face of certain death, the man’s life ended at the hands of a Mad Titan’s indifference.
Yet death was not his end. Through the compassion of a higher, lawful cosmic entity, he was reborn with a new purpose. No longer human, he became Drax a being of vengeance, a piece in a greater cosmic design shaped by forces that all desired one outcome: the end of Thanos.
the executioner of the gods
Driven by his singular purpose, Drax crossed the cosmos in search of Thanos, becoming known as the one destined to execute the Mad Titan. He hunted down his greatest allies, destroyed entire strongholds, and massacred armies sworn to him yet Thanos always remained just beyond reach.
As hope began to fade, Drax was approached by an exiled Kree warrior, the bastard daughter of Mar-Vell, who lived as a vigilante opposing the Kree dictatorship. She revealed that her father could be imprisoned within The Kyln, the largest prison complex in the galaxy, located at the center of the universe where Thanos himself had recently been taken by the Nova Corps after the genocide on Titan.
Together, they invaded the prison, but the mission was a deception. The Kree warrior was misled, and her father was nowhere to be found. The entire operation had been orchestrated by Thanos, who used it as a distraction to escape with the help of the Black Order.
With his purpose once again slipping away, Drax offered no resistance as he was detained by the Nova Corps. For the first time, the Destroyer stood still his war unfinished, his destiny unresolved.
