Early Life

Eris, the embodiment of Strife, is a primordial force among the Olympian hierarchy, representing chaos, discord, and the inevitable breakdown of order. Unlike the other gods who seek control or worship, Eris thrives in imbalance, finding purpose in the unraveling of certainty and the collision of opposing forces.

When Zeus set his plan into motion to create a champion capable of rivaling the Amazons, it was Eris who stepped forward to bring that vision to life. Where others might have hesitated, she saw opportunity.

Eris oversaw the ritual, guiding the fusion of daemonic and divine traits into a single being. Every aspect of Devastation’s existence carries her influence, not just as a creator, but as a catalyst. She did not simply help shape the child.

Unlike Devastation, Eris does not act with brute force. She observes, manipulates, and intervenes only when necessary. Often appearing in a pale, almost unsettling form, she maintains a presence close to her creation, not as a guardian, but as a constant influence.

To Eris, the true value of her creation lies not in immediate victory, but in what she becomes over time. Will she follow her purpose? Will she resist it? Will she create something entirely unexpected?

Her role is not to control the board, but to ensure the game never ends. Every doubt Devastation feels, every choice she questions, every conflict she faces, all of it feeds into the larger design Eris represents.
