Edgar Cizo was a brilliant yet deeply disturbed schoolar of the human mind whose lifelong resentment toward women shaped both his studies and his destiny. Obsessed with the connection between psychology, gender and power, he eventually turned to forbidden occult knowledge in search of control over what he believed had always rejected him. Through devotion to the ancient Goddess Psyche, Edgar gained terrifying psychic abilities. As Dcotor Psyche, he now uses mind control and possession to manipulate others (especially men) believing that through them he can reshape a world he sees as dominated by feminine influence.
Edgar Cizko spent most of his life studying the complexities of the human psyche. Highly intelligent but socially isolated, he struggled with interpersonal relationships from an early age, particularly when it came to women. Edgar often felt ignored, dismissed, or ridiculed in social settings and these experiences graudally hardened into bitterness.
Driven by both intellectual curiosity and personal resentment, Edgar dedicated his academic work to understanding how the human mind could become associated with ideas of femininity and gender influence. His studies initially focused on psychology and social behavir, but he increasingly became obsessed with finding ways to explain what he perceived as the psychological power women held over men.
For most of his life, Edgar felt invisible. The rare interactions he had with women often ended quickly or with mockery, reinforcing his growing hostility. This isolation pushed him deeper into research, where he began to search for answers outside traditional science.
Eventually, Edgar encountered ancient occult texts known as the Tomes of Medea. These writings suggested that the relationsship between mind, influence, and gender might have supernatural origins rather than purely psychological ones. Fascinated, Edgar began studying occultism, convinced that mystical forces could explain (and perhaps overturn) the dynamics he believed had shaped his life.
Through these studies, Edgar became devoted to the Goddess Psyche, a figure associated with the mind and the soul. His rituals and research unlocked extraordinary psychic abilities, granting him the power to influence thoughts, dominate minds, and even possess other individuals.
However, Edgar soon discovered that his powers worked only on men. At first he found this limitation frustating, but over time he reinterpreted it as a relevation: if men could be controlled, then they could be used as instruments to influence the world around them, including the women he had always resented.
Embracing his newfound abilities, Edgar adopted the identity of Doctor Psyche. With his mastery of psychic manipulation and possession, he began using controlled men as extensions of his will.
Doctor Psyche views his powers not merely as tools of revenge but as a means to reshape social dynamics according to his own twisted philosophy. To him, controlling men is enough to control the structures of socieyt, allowing him indirect influence over the very people he believes once rejected him.
