Most "code not working" reports on Earn2Trade are location errors rather than code errors. BONUS100, which carries a 50% discount, can only be entered in the coupon or promo field on the order/checkout summary screen. That screen appears after you have selected a programme and completed registration, and the field is often hidden behind a 'Have a coupon?' link that expands into a text box.
There is no coupon box on the registration form itself, so if you filled in your name, email, password, country and terms and never saw a field, nothing has gone wrong yet. Equally, the code cannot be entered in the trading platform, in dashboard settings, or sent by email to be applied later. If you are looking anywhere other than checkout, that is the fault.
A trailing space is the most common reason a valid code appears not to work. If you copied BONUS100 from a page or a message, the clipboard may have picked up a blank character at the end, and the checkout reads it as a different string.
The fix takes seconds:
Clear the coupon field completely rather than editing what is in it.
Type the code by hand, in capitals, with no spaces before or after.
Press Apply and watch for the summary to redraw.
If you must paste, click at the end of the pasted text and press backspace once to check whether the cursor sits immediately after the final character.
An "applied" message is not proof of a discount. Before you enter card details, look at the order summary and confirm two things: a visible discount line, and a total that has been halved. If the discount line appears but the total looks wrong, the reduction may be landing on part of the order only.
That is worth knowing rather than fighting. Market data and platform access costs can sit outside the programme fee, and it is not stated whether the discount applies to add-ons, data and platform fees or only to the programme fee. Check the basket total and the checkout terms on the page in front of you. Likewise, it is not stated whether the discount extends beyond the first billing cycle, and coupons on subscription products usually apply to the first cycle only. A smaller-than-expected reduction may be the terms working as written, not a failure.
A few structural rules explain most outright rejections:
Timing. The code must be applied during initial signup, before the first payment is authorised. Retroactive application is not supported, so an existing paid subscription cannot be discounted after the fact.
Stacking. Coupons are typically not stackable. If another code or offer is already sitting in the basket, remove it and use one code per order.
Plan variation. The discount may not behave identically on every plan, add-on or billing cycle. Trying the same code on a different account size or billing option can produce a different result.
Earn2Trade sells the Trader Career Path and Gauntlet Mini evaluation programmes, each with multiple account sizes and their own profit target, maximum drawdown, daily loss limit and monthly fee. Switching plan to chase a discount changes the rules you will trade under, so weigh that before you experiment.
If the discount lines up correctly but the payment step then fails, the coupon is not the issue. Some debit cards with tight online-transaction settings get declined at this stage. Work through your card's online-payment permissions before re-entering the code, because a fresh attempt will need the coupon typed in again.
Once payment goes through, open the email receipt and confirm it shows the discounted amount. The dashboard then provides platform download and connection instructions along with your simulated trading credentials. Note that the evaluation clock generally starts when trading begins rather than at purchase, so a slow checkout has not eaten into your assessment time.
Availability of funded accounts and partner arrangements can depend on country of residence, which is separate from the coupon but worth confirming on the site before you pay.
