If you want a dedicated, high-capacity listening solution for long TV sessions and quiet home entertainment, choose Earbay Headphones; if you need secure, waterproof audio that keeps your ears open for safety during active work or outdoor tasks, choose aigo Bone Conduction Headphones.
• Earbay Headphones: Offers an immersive, private viewing experience with 40 hours of battery life and low latency, but the over-ear design is too bulky for active movement or water exposure.
• aigo Bone Conduction Headphones: Delivers versatile, open-ear freedom with IP68 waterproofing and built-in storage for swimming, yet its 8-hour battery life is significantly shorter than stationary alternatives.
• Best for: The Earbay pick is for someone who sits still to watch content late at night; the aigo pick is for a worker who needs to stay aware of their environment while moving around.
The Earbay headphones are engineered specifically for the person who treats television watching as a primary daily activity. If you find yourself turning up the volume because others are sleeping, or if you have hearing difficulties that make standard TV speakers unintelligible, this device addresses those specific pain points directly. The design centers on creating a private sonic bubble without disturbing anyone else in the house. This makes it an ideal choice for households where multiple people have different schedules, such as a family member wanting to watch sports late at night while another tries to sleep.
What sets this model apart is the sheer duration of its battery life. With an average play time of 40 hours, you can go nearly a full week of evening viewing before needing to plug them into the charging dock. This eliminates the anxiety of running out of power mid-movie or mid-game. The included charging base acts as both a transmitter and a charger, meaning you simply place the headphones back down after use, and they are ready for the next session. There is no fumbling with cables or hunting for wall outlets until you actually need to charge them.

Comfort is another critical factor for extended wear. These headphones utilize soft protein leather ear cushions filled with memory foam. This combination is designed to distribute pressure evenly, preventing the soreness often associated with heavy over-ear headsets. Whether you are wearing them for a three-hour movie marathon or following a long series, the ergonomic fit ensures they stay in place without digging into your temples. However, the physical bulk of the over-ear design means these are not suitable for running, gym workouts, or any situation where you might sweat heavily. They are strictly a stationary tool for home entertainment.
The aigo bone conduction headphones serve a completely different demographic: the mobile professional or athlete who cannot afford to block out the world. If your work involves moving around a warehouse, walking on a busy street, or training outdoors, traditional noise-canceling headphones become a safety hazard. This product uses hybrid bone and air conduction technology to keep your ear canals completely open. You can hear your music clearly while simultaneously remaining aware of traffic, coworkers, or gym equipment. This open-ear approach is essential for anyone whose job requires situational awareness.
Water resistance is a defining feature here. With an IP68 rating, these headphones are fully submersible and can withstand rain, sweat, and chlorine. This makes them the only logical choice for swimmers or anyone working in wet environments. Unlike standard electronics that fail at the first sign of moisture, these can be dunked in a pool and dried off afterward without issue. Furthermore, the inclusion of 32GB of internal storage allows you to listen to music even when you do not have a phone nearby. You can leave your smartphone in the locker and still enjoy thousands of songs, which is a game-changer for runners and swimmers who want to travel light.
Despite their rugged capabilities, the build quality prioritizes lightweight comfort. Weighing only 25 grams and featuring a titanium alloy frame, they are so light that many users forget they are wearing them. The elastic silicone padding minimizes clamping force, making them comfortable even for those who wear glasses. However, the trade-off is battery endurance. With an 8-hour average life, you will need to charge them more frequently than the stationary alternative. They also require a two-hour charge time to reach full capacity. While excellent for a day of training or work shifts, they are not designed for multi-day marathons of continuous listening without access to a power source.
• Best for battery longevity → Earbay Headphones: With 40 hours of playback versus 8 hours, Earbay wins easily for all-day stationary use.
• Best for water and sweat resistance → aigo Bone Conduction Headphones: The IP68 rating makes aigo the only viable option for swimming or heavy sweating.
• Best for privacy and isolation → Earbay Headphones: Over-ear design provides sound isolation, perfect for late-night viewing without waking others.
• Best for situational awareness → aigo Bone Conduction Headphones: Open-ear design lets you hear your surroundings, critical for outdoor safety.
• Best for storage independence → aigo Bone Conduction Headphones: Built-in 32GB MP3 storage allows offline listening without a phone.
• Best for home theater connectivity → Earbay Headphones: Supports Optical, RCA, and AUX inputs for direct TV connection with low latency.
• Best for multi-device switching → aigo Bone Conduction Headphones: Bluetooth 6.0 supports multipoint connection to link two devices simultaneously.
• Best for active mobility → aigo Bone Conduction Headphones: Lightweight 25g design stays secure during running, cycling, or climbing.
After analyzing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the aigo Bone Conduction Headphones for my own work setup. While the Earbay headphones offer superior battery life and a more immersive private experience for TV, my daily routine involves moving between different areas, often outdoors or in shared spaces where blocking out ambient noise is dangerous. The ability to stay connected to calls via the dual AI microphones while maintaining awareness of my environment is non-negotiable for me. The aigo unit strikes the right balance between audio clarity and safety, and the waterproof capability adds a layer of versatility that the stationary Earbay model simply cannot match.
For work scenarios requiring focus but not total isolation, the aigo model is the superior tool. It handles the demands of modern, mobile work better than a headset designed solely for a living room couch. If your primary goal is to sit quietly and watch a show, the Earbay is unbeatable. But for a dynamic workday, the open-ear freedom of the aigo is the smarter investment.
Yes, but the best choice depends on your workflow. If you need to block out noise to concentrate, the Earbay offers sound isolation. If you need to hear your children or stay alert to household noises, the aigo bone conduction model is safer and more practical.
Absolutely. The IP68 waterproof rating confirms they are fully submersible. You can use the built-in 32GB storage to play music directly without a phone, making them ideal for swimming where Bluetooth signals cannot penetrate.
No. They come with optical, RCA, and AUX cables to connect directly to your television's audio output. The included transmitter handles the wireless signal, so you do not need a phone for the initial setup or operation.
The aigo headphones require about 2 hours to fully charge, whereas the Earbay system includes a charging dock that manages power passively. The Earbay offers much longer runtime per charge (40 hours vs. 8 hours), reducing how often you need to plug either device in.
