What is Women+ in Course 12?
Women+ in Course 12 (WiXII) uses the lens of gender to support members of MIT's Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences, including undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, research scientists, staff members, and faculty. We use the language "Women+" to indicate that WiXII welcomes all women, including cis and trans women, non-binary people, and others who are marginalized on the basis of gender. We also welcome allies, including those who do not identify as women, to join us in supporting the voices of underrepresented gender identities in the Earth and Planetary sciences. WiXII's meetings, programming, and events are open to ALL members of the EAPS community regardless of gender identity.
