Daniel Ingersoll and His Eagle Project

Daniel 's Project made improvements to the White Oak Trail in Bulls Island Recreation Area out of Stockton, NJ.

The trail consists of historical and various nature points of interest marked on the map. As past of the Project, numbered posts were installed to provide directions to locations of points of interest. An 8 foot long boardwalk was built that lays over a section of the trail that is subject to flooding. Improvements consisting of building a bench facing an old once running quarry slightly off the trail. Cleaning up, widening of the trail, and placing trail markers all throughout the trail.

Daniel had to manage a project budget, arrange for multiple volunteer work days, and deal with all aspects of seeing his project to completion.
