East Side Eagles Majors

The East Side Eagles Majors program is a team for 18 to 23 year olds based in the North East region of Winnipeg, MB.  As proud members of the MMJFL, we are dedicated to player development, brotherhood and community. We aren't just a team, we are FAMILY.

RECRUITING QUESTIONNAIRE

The cost to participate for our team is $500 all in. This includes insurance and tackle football registration with Football Manitoba ($40.20) as well as $460 in club fees.  Football Manitoba fees are non-refundable upon any participation in practice or workouts but transferable if choosing to play for any other team.  The balance of $460 is payable to the football club with at least half due up front to be equipped for training camp, which begins June 11th. If flexibility is required in order to pay the balance of the club fees, this can be arranged on a case by case or at need basis with the team's General Manager.

Training Camp is scheduled to begin June 11th through June 20th. Successful players will be invited back for Main Camp at the end of July or early August as we begin preparation for the season. Exact dates will be determined once the schedule is released. The team will play in a 6 game regular season schedule with up to 2 playoff games. The first regular season game is typically mid-August and the season runs through October. 

To begin the process of participating with us this season, register with Football Manitoba and pay their associated fees. A team representative will subsequently reach out directly to discuss next steps.

The East Side Eagles Majors program are extremely proud to have fielded many great players and teams throughout our club's 50-year history. Today's players and coaches take great honour in donning the white and navy and we trust that we are doing a great job of representing your legacy each and every time we take the field.
