EAGLES ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB MEETING MINUTES

Wednesday, January 8, 2025

Members present: Robin Plzak, Tina Nellis, Stacie Jacquet, Erin Hoffman, Holly Malvitz, Tonya DeBroux and Ari Counard. Others- Ben Kline

1. Meeting called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Ari Counard.

2. December Meeting minutes approved by Robin Plzak and seconded by Tina Nellis. All in favor, motion carried.

3. Athletic Director Update- Banners came in. The 3 foreign exchange students also got a banner as a memento. Booster Club to also pay for theirs. Saturday, February 22, the Special Olympics will be having a basketball tournament in the Eagle Gym and they would like to use our concession stand.  Holly will contact the person in charge and see if they plan to use our product and then we give a donation or if they plan on buying everything.  Per Ben, the Conference championship numbers should be coming in soon so the banners can be updated. All parents are now on Parent Square for sports. Going to start out with flag football during ELT. No softball coach yet.

4. Grant Requests- Cross Country is requesting $6,688 for warm-ups as their old ones are at least 10-15 years-old. Tina Nellis made a motion to fund the warm-ups, seconded by Holly Malvitz. All in favor, motion carried.

5. Concessions- Going well. Changed vendor for pretzel bites, however, still getting from Badger. Make sure to have plenty of candy for youth basketball nights.   

6. Other- Picked which nights we would be doing the duck raffles.
