EAGLES ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB MEETING MINUTES

Wednesday, November 13, 2024

Members present: Tracie Cochart, Tonya DeBroux, Tina Nellis, Robin Plzak, Sarah Vandertie, Erin Hoffman, Holly Malvitz, Megan Delfosse, Ginny Monfils, Ben Kline and Ari Counard

1. Meeting called to order at 5:59 p.m. by Tracie Cochart.

2. October Meeting minutes approved by Ari Counard and seconded by Robin Plzak. All in favor, motion carried.

3. Athletic Director Update- Ben Kline was in attendance.

·       New Girl’s Basketball Coach-Alyssa Conway.

·       Boy’s Swimming. SB dropped out of the co-op.  SD has 1 swimmer.

·       The EABC Banner is up in the Talon Fitness Center.

·       What can we do to get students to come to games?

·       We received the Packer’s grant-4 boxes of equipment for Girl’s Flag Football. Ben indicated a couple of State’s already have Varsity teams.

·       Having students at games read the Sportsmanship Statement

4. Concessions- All set up and ready to go for Winter Sports.

5. Grants- GBB requesting money for a few travel suits. Approved (via text).

6.  Craft Show- Overall, it went well, although, we were down approximately 300 people through the door from last year. Look at what we can do to get more vendors. Possibly look into Let’s Go Door County for advertising. A suggestion was made to play Christmas music throughout the school while the show is going on. Food trucks went over well. Next year possibly just do food trucks.

7. Other- Kris LeCaptain would like to use our concession stand for a youth boys basketball tournament in December. Approved. Discussion about how we want to pay out for the new ducks fundraiser we are starting at halftime of basketball games.

8. Next Meeting- January 8, 2025

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. made by Robin Plzak and 2nd  by Ari Counard. All in favor, motion carried.
