EAGLES ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB MEETING MINUTES

Wednesday, November 8, 2023

Members present: Tonya DeBroux, Amy Everard, Robin Plzak, Tracie Cochart, Megan Delfosse, Michelle Schinktgen, Jenny Jandrin, Tina Nellis, Ari Counard, Stacie Jacquet, Erin Hoffman, Sarah Vandertie and Holly Malvitz

1. Meeting called to order by Tracie Cochart at 6:20 pm.

2. Motion to Approve the November Meeting Minutes by Amy Everard, seconded by Michelle Schinktgen. All in favor, motion carried.

3. Athletic Director Updates- None.

4. Grant Request- Tracie is working on updating the form-simplify it.

5. Website-We need to update our website. Erin will work on it.

6. Other-

·         Kris LeCaptain wants to use the concession stand the first Sunday in December for the boys youth basketball tournament. She would also like to buy our small bottles of Gatorade. All in agreement to let her use the stand.

·         Marchants Account- There is an account for us, but it’s still listed as SDABC. Michelle will call Sara and either close the account and take the cash or have them rename it to EABC.

·         Michelle made a motion to give $200 to the Youth Boys’s Basketball Program as we owed them for concession stand items. 2nd by Tina. All in favor, motion carried.

·         Marc Vandenhouten reached out and asked if we wanted to take charge of selling the heated vests as a fundraiser. Tracie put together an email to have school send to all parents.

·         Discussion about the scoreboard and having Josh Lardinois teach others how to use. Also discussion about what Josh gets paid and if we should give him a donation from the EABC as a thank you for all that he does.

·         Tonya indicated there are a lot of submissions this year for the Hall of Fame.

7. Craft Show Recap-Overall, it went really well. Suggestions for next year:

·         More crafters in Eagle Gym.

·         Better signs.

·         Increase admission to $5.

·         After January 1, 2024, booths go up to $60.

·         Only need one group of athletes for set up on Friday night.

·         Prep vendor packets ahead of time (hand to them at check-in. Their responsibility to bring back with them if they set up on Saturday).

·         Raffle- pick more names during busier time. Maybe get a lap top/screen to sort/organize.

8. Next Meeting Date – January 10, 2024.

9. Treasurer’s Report- Read by Jenny Jandrin.

10. Adjourn –Motion to adjourn at 8:15 pm made by Amy Everard and seconded by Michelle Schinktgen. All in favor, motion carried.
