EXT. Athletic TRack - DAY
ADAM, late 20's corporate attire, is walking JAKE, athletic but wearing a fat suit, to a wheelchair on screen. Adam zips up Jake's fat suit and hands him a large bucket of chicken wings, he sits, pulls his knees up to his chest and starts bawling loudly.
ADAM (V.O.)
Hi, my name is Adam Evans. I’m a dream facilitator here in Eadon.
Adam pushes him across the frame while soothing him.
EXT. OPEN LOT. - DAY
ALICE, a straight laced woman, has a cricket bat over her shoulder, she's huffed but pleased with herself.
ALICE
It feels good to destroy things.
EXT. PARK CLEARING. - Night
DANIEL, dressed in a loin cloth, is standing amongst shrubbery.
DANIEL
Imaginative guy. He always gives me that user experience that I'm looking for.
INT. STAGE
CATHERINE, post-performance, sits on the stage edge with glitter and sweat on her face. She is smiling and struggling to find words. She tries to catch her reflection in the camera lens.
CATHERINE
(posh accent)
He's a champion. He has lovely teeth and of course he always comes to see me perform. Is this going to be on telly by any chance?
INT. DRESSING ROOM
Adam is sitting in his dressing room. He adjusts his name badge and fiddles with a dog collar around his neck.
ADAM
I’m here to make people’s dreams a reality. Helping people to realise the potential of their own dreams and guiding them to fulfilment. That’s the most satisfying thing to me.
EXT. Athletic track – DAY
Adam is pushing a now more frantic Jake who is guzzling his chicken amid struggled sobs and muffled words.
JAKE
It’s ok to let go ... it’s ok to let go ...
Adam leans into camera - he's hushed, but excited.
ADAM
I’m not allowed to say who but, uh, that client was an Olympic gold medallist ... can you imagine?!!
INT. DRESSING ROOM
Adam takes off the dog collar with difficulty.
(What's it like working in the dream business?)
ADAM
**Eadon is the modern day fantasy. It turned out this way because people dreamed it this way. This is how it feels to have all the freedom and power you ever wanted. Allowing people to dream is allowing them to hope.**
[[Should be dark and make a pointed statement about Londons as a whole.]]

[[Eadon represents dreams. Dreams represent hope. Once we lose hope, we lose everything.]]
EXT. PARK CLEARING. Night
Adam and Daniel, in loincloths, are huddled around sticks hitting rocks together.
ADAM AND DANIEL
(raised)

Daniel leans towards the camera and hits rocks together.
ADAM (V.O.)
Some of our most basic programs are tailored to visitors just looking for an escape from their daily lives.
Adam and Daniel have succeeded in making a fire. Basic flame effects will be accomplished with lighting.

INT. DREssing Room
ANGLE ON - CLOTHES RACK
Many quick cuts of Adam trying on different strange costumes without explanation. Communicating through expressions and pauses.
CLOSE UP - INTERVIEW
ADAM
We get all sorts of visitors. Different people from different cities want different things - to feel loved and accepted ... to burn things ... to break things ... to become famous... to lie ... to become someone else ...
INT. INTERVIEW ROOM
Adam is sitting at a desk with a woman, LILY. There is a green apple between the two of them. The room is stark.
ADAM (V.O.)
Some of the smartest people that I’ve met have been on the job.
LILY
This apple is red.
ADAM
True.
LILY
It’s a beautiful square apple.
ADAM
You’ve got such a good eye. How are you always right?
Lily holds Adam's stare to determine if he believes her lie. A devilish smile breaks across her lips.
INT. DRESSING ROOM
Adams phone beeps. He checks it and puts it down. Adam apologises.
ADAM
Does it ever get tiring? No. Do you ever get tired of following your dreams?
INT. BATHROOM WITH MULTIPLE SINKS
A man, WINSTON, in a boiler suit is walking along the taps, turning each one, watching water flow over. He takes a massive breath from his inhaler which lets out puffs of smoke. Adam is mopping the mess.
CUT TO:
Winston is gargling and spurting water everywhere. Adam is bemused - he holds two glasses of water.
INT. STAGE
ADAM (V.O.)
It’s like being a best friend. The art lies in rising to the level of the role.
CATHERINE, performs dramatically and out of tune. Music is blasting.
CATHERINE
(singing)
It's a quarter to ten and we're supposed to be there at nine...
Adam is sitting in the audience as a solitary figure.
ADAM
(hysterical)
WOO HOO *wolf whistle* Yeah! Amazing!
Catherine bows to the audience and acknowledges a crowd that isn't there, waving to the audience.
ADAM
And if you get the dream right. There’s this incredible feeling of warmth.
[[Should this be a voice over? or should it be an over the shoulder comment in the auditorium?]]
INT. DRESSING ROOM
Adam’s phone beeps. He smiles at the camera awkwardly. The phone beeps again. Adam shows his phone to the camera.
ADAM
It’s Cody. Romance city won’t leave me alone.
CODY
(computer generated voice)
I love you Adam. We are meant to be together.
Beep from the phone. Shock as Adam sees the incoming text. Images of bridges, hearts and a huge phallic building are seen that instantly get pixelated.
ADAM
Oh fuck. Shit shit. You’ll edit that out won’t you?
EXT. OPEN LOT - DAY
ADAM (V.O.)
Some dreams are elaborate, yes...
Adam is holding a vase some distance away from a well-dressed woman, ALICE, who is holding a cricket bat to her side.
ADAM (V.O.)
It’s all about doing what’s sensible.
ALICE
Stay away from the art ... please!
Adam flings the vase at the woman who yells as she swings the cricket bat at it, smashing it. Adam looks over his shoulder towards the camera.
ADAM
Sure there are some close calls, but it’s part of the job. That’s part of the sacrifice you make.
ALICE
No photos ... please!
Adam flings another vase at the woman.
INT. DRESSING ROOM
ADAM
The real danger is not getting the dream. I just like getting it right, getting that approval. My own dream of course is to keep ...
Adam is cut off.
INTERVIEWER (O.S.)
(strong dismissive tone)
Ahem. Mr. Clive your time is up.
ADAM
(frantic)
Just five more minutes. I’ve got more money. I can pay you.
INTERVIEWER (O.S.)
I’m sorry Mr. Clive, but we have another client coming.
Camera zooms out, we see INTERVIEWER in Eadon Uniform. The dressing room is revealed as a set. Adam stumbles through as he removes the badge. Crew work in background.
ADAM
Ok. How did you think I did? I thought I did a good job.
INTERVIEWER
(non-committal)
Sure. Thank you Mr. Clive. We look forward to your next session.
Adam walks off and starts to mumble.
>BLACK OUT
!EADON ADVERT rings out in a voice similar to Simpsons intro.
FEMALE (V.O.)
(Angelic)
