EAA Chapter 7

Welcome to the EAA Chapter 7 Website! 

We are the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association based at Long Beach Airport (KLGB). 

Chapter 7 meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Signature Aeroplex, 3333 E Spring St Suite 205, Long Beach, CA 90806.  

At meetings, we talk about all things aviation. Previous programs include: Navigation through local airspace, flying with the iPad, tips for effective ATC communication, flying helicopters, flying in the Caribbean, and working with Fiberglass, among other interesting topics. Meetings are open to anyone interested in aviation and they are usually fun and informative too!

Six times a year, the chapter holds Young Eagles Rallies. Young Eagles Rallies are events where pilots volunteer themselves and their airplanes to give kids aged 8-17 a FREE 20 minute introductory flight.
