Short Bio

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the department of Computer Science at University of Toronto, supervised by Prof. Suzanne Stevenson. My research focuses on computational approaches to studying various aspects of multilingualism. I explore the unique properties of translated texts and productions of advanced non-native speakers, covering a wide range of syntactic and lexical phenomena and applying state-of-the-art (supervised and unsupervised) machine learning and natural language processing techniques. Additional topics I am interested in include informational retrieval, argumentation mining and computational social science.

I completed my Ph.D. at the Department of Computer Science, University of Haifa (Israel) under the supervision of Prof. Shuly Wintner.

My complete CV can be found here.
