A heartfelt message from the Author
An open "love" letter to our generous Ko-FI sponsors, and to every reader who continues to stay with me,
Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.
I keep all of you in my prayers, and I am deeply grateful for the kindness you have shown the people who help me continue this writing journey. What you gave may seem small to others, just a little help for coffee, just a practical gift, but to me, it means so much more. It feels like care. It feels like support. It feels like being reminded that this dream still matters, and that the people helping me carry it matter too.
Because of your generosity, the editors, admins, illustrators, and publishers who have stood by me have received a little extra strength in their work. Their time, skill, and effort are not free in the real world, and I know that. What they do has value. Still, they have continued to help me with patience, generosity, and heart, even during times when I could not always give something back. That kind of kindness is not something I take lightly.
Through your support, their coffee fund has been filled, and that simple gift has helped more than words can say. It has provided energy during exhausting days, consolation during long hours, and support during trying times. The smallest deed of kindness can sometimes have the greatest impact. A cup of coffee can be more than just coffee at times. Sometimes it's a subdued way of telling someone to keep going. I have faith in your abilities.
To all the readers on my personal website, and to those who purchase my work, thank you as well.
Thank you for continuing to support my writing even as I keep my distance from toxic online writing spaces. I stepped away from those places because they often felt exhausting, competitive, and unhealthy. Too often, writers are made to feel that they have to be loud just to be noticed, included, or taken seriously. That kind of environment does not give me peace. It does not help me create.
I am a passionate writer, but I do not dream of greater recognition. I am not chasing a bigger spotlight. More than anything, I only want a safe space to exist, to write, and to share my work honestly. That is enough for me. That is the kind of life I want as a writer.
Even so, if there is one good thing I carry with me from the crowded writing spaces I used to belong to, despite the toxic and dishonest people I met there, it is this: I also met warm and friendly people like you. And that means a lot to me. In the middle of all the noise, there were still real people with kind hearts. There were still those who gave me a sense of acceptance, understanding, and support. The best thing I took away from those spaces was you.
It means more to me than words can convey that you continued to find me, encourage me, and stick with my work. You accepted my tales without asking me to change into someone harder, louder, or less authentic. I will always remember that kind of support, which is uncommon.
I am therefore grateful to those who assist me. I appreciate you giving me a voice. I appreciate your kind, sincere, and genuine support for my work. Your generosity has given me courage in trying times and solace in lonely ones. That thankfulness is with me every day.
With all of my prayers, love, and thanks.
You have brought warmth to this journey, and I will always remember that.
