The Auto Tune kit can also use the Dynojet map switch or any open/closed switch which allows the user to switch between live tuning to the parameters set thru the PC V software or the base map in the PC V unit. You can leave the map switch in "live" mode, or if you want to write the fuel map you can connect to the PC V software, retrieve the fuel trims and either write them to the map or clear them. Isn't Stage 2 supposed to be for cams as well? For some reason, the Power Vision maps list the Stage 1 map as a stock exhaust and stock air cleaner set up and then the Stage 2 map as a upgraded Air Cleaner and Slip-on exhaust set up. It's like they're naming their version of the typical improved stock map as Stage 1. This is what comes up for my 2018 1200 after uploading the PV info file on the Dynojet site. I do get different options if I manually select the year and model vs uploading the file.

Conclusion: The Ftecu software is unbelievably lacking compared to the Power Vision 3 (shown below). The only edge that FTecu has is the availability of plug-n-play maps from named vendors. The PV3 is too new yet and has a limited base tune database.

As for importing pcv, yes that is how you would import the fueling. The timing is easier to do manually because there are maps for all six gears. You can open the pcv map to see the changes being made and for the timing its just a simple 3-4 degrees above about 40% throttle. In the timing maps, it goes down to single digit advance they do this so they can run 87 octane or whatever the manual says, I left that area alone for that reason.
