This carving is inspired by the legendary tiki artist and master carver Leroy Schmaltz of Oceanic Arts. The original design hails from Papua New Guinea. This is hand carved from a pine beam with a chainsaw and refined with a Dremel. It is stained and then hand painted. The raffia and feather accents are also put together by me and there was no glue used to attach anything as I wanted it to feel authentic. The ceramic pendant is hand sculpted and glazed.

The carving on this ceramic pot comes from Papua New Guinea , I call it sunken treasure because of the barnacles and I want it to feel as it was pulled from an ancient shipwreck.
This ceramic skull used a coil building technique to construct it. The inspiration of the details and pieces on top was my grandparents. My grandma and grandpa love the ocean and the islands which is really what started me on the tiki path. This skull is a tribute to them so it includes something special for each of them, a Marquesan tiki for my grandpa and a Sea Turtle for my grandma.
This wheel thrown ceramic mug is inspired by 50s mid century modernism art.
This mug is entirely original, the design is drawn by me then sculpted. The mask and body are added onto a slab mug. This was my first tiki mug that I ever made all on my own and for that reason I love it even with all of its imperfections.
This is a slab mug that uses a Papua New Guinea mask and shields for the design elements. The handle also uses a similar tiki design.
This wheel thrown mini mug is based on Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. It takes inspiration from the famous tiki drummers. The Tiki Room was mostly designed by legendary Imagineer Rolly Crump, hence the name.
