Mandeville MW Logbook
Located in Mandeville, LA the DX Central Kiwi gives a nice alternative look at the bands comapred to our sister Kiwi at Shortwave Central.
We have a rotation of SuperLoop antennas that are all vactrol-controlled and fed by a Wellbrook FLG100LN amplifier.
The main SuperLoop deployed on this Kiwi (red path on the map) will be the 15'x56' antenna at 83°/263°. Other SuperLoops include the 20'x97' antenna at 305°/125° (green path on the map) and the 22'x72' at 15°/195° (blue path on the map).
Look on the SDR page for the updated information on which antenna/orientation is deployed.
This SDR will be offline during local lightning storms.

Antenna is a 26'x72' KAZ at 330°/150° (usually pointed South) and fed by a Wellbrook FLG100LN amplifier. Termination is through a manually controlled variable resistor (have tried to set it to maximize as many Latin American "beacon" frequencies as possible.
